  • We are looking for an Events Manager to join our team!

    About the role

    The events range from large scale wine tastings and trade shows to small, intimate dinners for top customers to showcase our wine, beer, cider and spirits portfolio. There is also opportunity to work on individual brand events for example, Magners Cider and Tito’s Vodka and Menabrea Beer that are owned by our parent company C&C. The right candidate will be highly motivated and a self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude and will possess excellent communication and time management skills to ensure events are delivered to the highest quality.

    What you'll do

    The events manager will manage the events budget which includes setting & managing the total & the individual events’ budgets, lead the creative direction & messaging plus copywriting of event communication to internal staff and customers 

    Own the logistical management of events; venue and supplier sourcing and negotiation to onsite management
    Be responsible for driving reach & impact of events – facilitating tangible commercial impact (on sales & relationships), positive brand positioning & improving awareness and supplier relationships and manage events from brief creation through to delivery; including year ahead planning of events calendar and overview of activity throughout the year, communicating out to the business as needed

    About you

    • You'll have seasoned events experience in a similar role
    • You'll have knowledge of and interest in the drinks industry
    • You'll have considerable experience of Excel – for use with managing databases & financial administration
