  • Overview:

    This role has full P & L responsibility for the agreed customer base and achieving the set profit budget.

    The role involves management of all aspects of the accounts and you are accountable in ensuring our customer gets the best possible service from Bibendum PLB. The role involves a committed attitude and travel throughout the region as well as to sales and other meetings as required.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Developing sales strategies and implementing these in your account base. This will involve cross functional working and building strong internal relationships across the business
    • Regular store/site visits and audits to ensure you have an in depth knowledge of your customer’s range, promo activity etc
    • Promotional proposal and review where possible
    • Reviewing sales reports and negotiating corrective action with your accounts
    • Reviewing weekly logistics reports to monitor stocks/sales of all lines
    • Achieve the budgeted volume and margins in each respective account
    • Preparing and following up on quotes/samples
    • Build and develop continuously customer relationships in each account
    • Management of customer pricing and accruals
    • Managing suppliers in market in your territory
    • Management of the Sales Executive

    • Good analytical skills
    • Good leadership skills
    • Excellent negotiation and sales skills
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Excellent mathematical skills

    Experience/knowledge required
    • Strong knowledge of the independent retail and wholesale sectors with good relationships established in the customer base
    • Minimum 2 years Sales Account Management experience
    • Knowledge and experience of effective customer planning
    • Knowledge of wine and the wine category – WSET Level 3 as a minimum
    • Knowledge of beer and spirits categories

    • Available to travel both in the UK and occasionally abroad. This may include overnight stays.
