  • The PROOF Research & Insight team works independently across the C&C Group to provide a single coherent perspective on the UK & Ireland’s drinkers and their behaviour. Understanding our consumers and our market is the cornerstone upon which future success will be built. Our insight is used to support planning for the future for our brands, our customers, our suppliers, and our colleagues, but most importantly it is used to shape how our business develops and innovates.  As the team’s Research Lead, you will deliver a range of exciting online and face to face research on everything drinks-related, including NPD and Brand. You will play a pivotal role in providing a link between existing market understanding and building understanding in areas previously unexplored

  • You are a bright, enthusiastic, highly numerate Research Lead who is looking to join a team of like-minded professionals within PROOF Insight, the home of data, insights, and analytics for C&C Group. You have an enthusiasm for both qualitative and quantitative disciplines, and are experienced in responding to research briefs, preparing research proposals, writing questionnaires, managing a consumer community/panel, as well as analysing and interpreting data to present stories in a compelling way.

    • Manage C&C’s growing research agenda in both B2B and B2C. Propose and respond to requests for research and analysis from both internal and external stakeholders to support business strategy and innovation
    • Work with the Research and Insight Manager and the wider PROOF Insight team, in conducting robust, evidence-based research in both quantitative and qualitative disciplines
    • Deliver projects to deadline, communicating findings in a clear and coherent manner, whether written or presented verbally
    • Manage our POURTRAITS community panel, including branded panels for Tennent’s and Bulmers
    • Respond to innovation briefs to scope new product development opportunities
    • CSAT reporting for Bibendum, Matthew Clark, Tennent’s, and Bulmers Ireland
    • Key contact for all third party research suppliers and agencies
    • Key contact internally as a recognised leader of research provision
    • Management of a consumer research panel and community
    • Become a recognised leader of research provision and an informed, approachable and valued colleague to others
    • Work with sales, marketing, buying and other teams across C&C Group to deliver research findings that have clear commercial value in support of category reviews, tender submissions, NPD opportunities etc.
    • Build and maintain networks both internally and externally to keep abreast of developments within insight and translate these into relevant applications for C&C Group
    • Maintain research integrity and the truth behind consumer needs, whilst delivering results which drive stakeholder agenda
    • GDPR compliance for raw data containing personally identifiable information on participating consumers
    • Data Gathering (desk research, discussion guides etc.)

     

    Other accountabilities include but are not exclusive to:

    • Stakeholder management and requirements gathering
    • Extracting actionable insight from research findings
